Bubby’s
Website: Bubby’s
Address: 120 Hudson St, New York, NY
Brunch hours: Daily 8am-4pm
Named after the Yiddish word for grandmother, Bubby’s dishes out some of the most popular home-style brunch in Chelsea. A neighborhood haunt for more than 30 years, the restaurant’s irresistible pancakes are largely to thank.
The hardest part is choosing between the chewy sourdough pancakes and award-winning traditional flapjacks (I’m partial to the traditional pancakes). Once settled, decide on a topping like blueberries, caramelized bananas with toasted walnuts or chocolate chips.
If savory brunch is more your speed, Bubby’s has you covered in that department as well. You can opt for spicy fried chicken sandwiches, creamy cheese grits or huevos rancheros, the variety spans the gamut! Take your time choosing but don’t forget an order of buttermilk biscuits for the table.

The Odeon
Website: The Odeon
Address: 145 W Broadway, New York, NY 10013
Brunch hours: Weekends 10am – 4pm
Perhaps best known for expertly-made martinis, the Odeon remains one of the most charming brasseries in New York City. The French restaurant opened in 1980 and quickly became a neighborhood hangout for stylish New Yorkers and celebrities alike.
Consistently great, the restaurant runs like a well-oiled machine every hour of the day, but there’s something special about brunch. Steak frites and french onion soup are subbed for airy omelettes and stunning french toast.
There are other things on the menu, of course, like croque monsieur and avocado toast, but those are just supporting actors. Omelettes put this place on the map with the Tribeca brunch crowd, see what all the fuss is about for yourself.

Gotan
Website: Gotan
Address: 130 Franklin St, New York
Brunch hours: Served all day
To the untrained eye Gotan looks like nothing more than a charming neighborhood cafe, but locals know better. Serving some of the best coffee in Tribeca, the breakfast menu is equally impressive.
The menu is full of modern breakfast staples like the cheddar scrambled egg biscuits (my favorite breakfast sandwich in the neighborhood) and creamy chia pudding topped with seasonal fruits and local honey. If you’re feeling ravenous, opt for the halloumi and roasted pepper sandwich or chicken shawarma instead.
Between the knock-out coffee and unforgettable food, Gotan is the perfect casual Tribeca brunch restaurant to catch up with a friend.
Laconda Verde
Website: Locanda Verde
Address: 377 Greenwich St, New York, NY
Brunch hours: Weekends 10am – 3pm
Offering elevated Italian fare, Laconda Verde is a prime Tribeca brunch restaurant for celebrating special occasions. The menu is full of delectable dishes like frittata caprese, scampi and grits, lemon ricotta pancakes and shaved porchetta sandwiches.
Whatever you decide to order as the main, make sure the meal opens with some homemade pastries like seasonal bombolinis. The service is top-notch and the restaurant has a very comfortable atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to linger with a group of friends.
Fun fact: Laconda Verde is owned by Robert De Niro.

Rigor Hill Market
A viral breakfast sandwich (made with herb and cheese frittata, cheddar, tomato jam and pain de mie) put Rigor Hill Market on the map. But between you and me, I’d argue the BLT is where it’s at. Made with seasonal farm tomatoes, homemade sourdough bread, garlic aioli and thick cut bacon, it’ll ruin all other BLTs for you.
A market first and foremost, you’ll find seasonal veggies, fresh baked breads and great coffee on offer. If you’re visiting for brunch you should know this is ore of a casual grab-and-go spot with a handful of tables outside.
Good to Know: Rigor Hill Market makes the best hot chocolate in New York City.
Walker’s
Website: Walker’s
Address: 16 N Moore St, New York, NY
Brunch hours: Weekends 11am – 4pm
Walker’s has been charming Tribeca since 1987. In a city where storied neighborhood taverns are becoming more elusive, Walker’s hangs on a glorified past of cold beers and reliable pub fare. The well-worn bar has seen locals through many milestones over proper burgers and hearty breakfast meals.
In keeping with the times, Walker’s introduced a modern American brunch to its rotation. Eggs Benedict, Cuban sandwiches, huevos rancheros and hearty breakfast burritos are all up for grabs at this charming Tribeca brunch haunt.
1803
Website: 1803
Address: 82 Reade St, New York, NY
Brunch hours: Weekends 11am – 4pm
A fitting name for a Cajun-Creole restaurant, 1803 pays homage to the year of the Louisiana Purchase. Serving some of the most delicious brunch in Tribeca, the menu featuring delicious offerings such as honey chili Brussels sprouts, crawfish cakes Benedict, and buttermilk brine fried chicken.
Filé Gumbo Bar
Website: Filé Gumbo Bar
Address: 275 Church St, New York City, NY
Brunch hours: Weekends 11am – 4pm
Aptly named, Filé Gumbo Bar specializes in gumbo, an aromatic Creole stew made with thickened stock and meat or shellfish. At Filé, the signature gumbo is based on a dark roux meticulously made with duck and chicken fat, from there you can choose one of nine variations (chicken, andouille sausage, shrimp, and crab or a combo thereof).
All this to say, ordering a proper bowl of gumbo non-negotiable. But, let’s talk about the brunch fare too. In addition to Gumbo, you’ll find perfected southern comfort food like made-to-order beignets, pillowy buttermilk pancakes and creamy country grits. If you’re craving southern brunch in Tribeca, Filé gets my vote.
Paros
Website: Paros
Address: 211 W Broadway, New York, NY
Brunch hours: Weekends 11am – 4pm
Helmed by Bravo Top Chef finalist George Pagonis , Paros is an elevated Aegean restaurant dishing out unparalleled Greek fare with tranquil vibes. Suitable for any occasion, from large family dinners to romantic date nights, Paros is a strong contender for the best brunch restaurants in Tribeca for celebratory occasions.
Ease into the meal with a mezza platter before flirting with the entrees. The shakshouka (spiced tomato sauce, peppers, caramelized onions and poached eggs) is an easy pleaser but the Tsoureki french toast is a personal favorite. Made with fluffy Tsoureki (traditional Greek Easter Bread), baklava, banana, whipped cream and maple syrup, it can satiate the most ardent sweet tooth.
Two Hands
Website: Two Hands
Address: 251 Church St, New York, NY
Brunch hours: Served all day
Two Hands is the brainchild of two Austrilian expats keen to bring the sunny vibes of the Land Down Under to cobblestone streets of Tribeca. The all-day cafe serves the usual suspects: avocado toast, creamy scrambled eggs, hearty grain bowls and lemon poppyseed waffles.
The banana walnut bread (made with espresso mascarpone, toasted buckwheat and honey) alone earns Two Hands a spot on our list of the best brunch in Tribeca.
