Gotan
Website: Gotan
Address: 130 Franklin St, New York
Gotan is among the top coffee shops in Tribeca, and in my opinion, it’s still a bit of a hidden gem. Finding a seat is usually a breeze, and it’s not uncommon for people to linger for hours, thanks to the relaxed atmosphere. Being one of the larger coffee shops in Tribeca, there’s ample space to spread out and get comfortable at their communal tables.
While you’re there, you can enjoy seasonal snacks to keep you satisfied, along with some of the best coffee in Tribeca. With a commitment to quality, Gotan serves Counter Culture Coffee, a company known for publishing annual sustainability reports, showcasing dedication both in their kitchen and partnerships.

Interlude Coffee & Tea
Website: Interlude Coffee & Tea
Address: 145 Hudson St, New York
Much like a mixologist distinguishes themselves from a casual bartender, Interlude sets itself apart from ordinary cafes. Each sip serves as a reminder that the drink was meticulously crafted by expert hands.
For fellow matcha enthusiasts, Interlude is my preferred coffee shop in Tribeca. If there’s a better matcha in NYC, I’ve yet to find it. Using ceremonial grade matcha crafted from young leaves with a high concentration of chlorophyll, Interlude’s expert baristas know how to make tea sing.
The best part? Quality doesn’t come at the expense of pretension. The baristas are some of the friendliest in town and they pride they take in their work it obvious.

Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee
Website: Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee
Address: 139 Reade St, New York & 2 6th Ave, New York
Thanks to Jack’s Stir Brew, accessing great coffee in Tribeca has never been easier. Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee dates back to 2003 when Jack Mazzola opened a small cafe in the hopes of serving his community. Relying on organic coffee, Jack’s Coffee grew to a handful of locations throughout the city (serving 50,000 people a week on average).
Working directly with farmers and purveyors before it became the industry standard, Jack’s was the first NYC coffee house to serve ethically sourced, shade-grown organic coffee exclusively.

Kaffe Landskap
Website: Kaffe Landskap
Address: 401 Greenwich St, New York & 275 Greenwich St, New York
Kaffe Landskap takes the crown as the best coffee shop in Tribeca, no doubt about it. With its rustic Scandinavian vibes, it’s cozy and inviting. You’ll never feel cramped, and the spacious wooden tables make it perfect for setting up your laptop for a work session. Bonus: There are two Kaffe Landskap locations in Tribeca, so if one is full, just stroll over to the other!
Their coffee beans are roasted in Red Hook, Brooklyn, ensuring bold and flavorful drinks every time. Partnering with Collaborative Coffee Source guarantees ethically sourced and imported coffee beans. Besides coffee, the Tribeca cafe offers a variety of smoothies, juices, soups, salads, sandwiches, and, of course, traditional coffee shop pastries.

Hungry Ghost Coffee
Website: Hungry Ghost Coffee
Address: 165 Church St, New York
Hungry Ghost, founded by Turkish entrepreneur Murat Uyaroglu, has established itself as one of the top coffee shops in Tribeca. With a commitment to serving outstanding Stumptown coffee, Hungry Ghost attracts a steady flow of people seeking a fast, convenient, and high-quality cup of joe.
The baristas are known for their friendliness and often engage on a personal level. When it comes to cozy Tribeca coffee shops, Hungry Ghost stands out with its minimalistic and clean aesthetic.

La Colombe Coffee Roasters
Website: La Colombe Coffee Roasters
Address: 319 Church St, New York
La Colombe stands out as one of the top coffee shops in Tribeca, ensuring your caffeine fix is thoroughly satisfied. Beyond a diverse selection of coffees, teas, and treats, La Colombe goes the extra mile by offering specialty drinks on-tap. It’s also one of my preferred Tribeca coffee spots for getting work done.
The abundance of small, two-person tables is ideal for setting up a laptop. Put on your headphones and dive into your tasks, making sure to have a delightful cup of coffee to keep you energized and focused.

Laughing Man Cafe
Website: Laughing Man Cafe
Address: 184 Duane St, New York
Laughing Man Cafe is among the few coffee shops in Tribeca where spending money feels good, thanks to its charitable mission. Established in 2011 and owned by actor Hugh Jackman, the coffee company is dedicated to supporting coffee farming communities. A portion of the proceeds goes towards programs aimed at building a sustainable life for farmers and their families.

787 Coffee
Website: 787 Coffee
Address: 93 Worth St, New York
If you crave a lively atmosphere and excellent coffee, 787 is the place to be. I especially love the purpose-driven mission of this charming Tribeca cafe, which is to provide a farm-to-cup coffee experience while supporting the local community.
The goal is to grow coffee in a sustainable manner (at 787’s coffee plantation in Puerto Rico) and offer livable wages to the locals they hire. It’s a beautiful thing, and the end result is exceptional – one of the best coffee shops in Tribeca!
Five & Dime
Website: Five & Dime
Address: 8 Park Pl, Tribeca
Coffee and cocktails? I volunteer as tribute! As if the drinks weren’t enough, Five & Dime is one of the best coffee shops in Tribeca thanks to its chic 1920’s decor that oozes old school vibes. The aesthetic is attributed to the fact the cafe is located inside the Woolworth Building.
For those who don’t know, the Woolworth Building was the tallest building in the world from 1913 to 1920, before being usurped by the Empire State Building.
There’s plenty of seating, so if you arrive in the morning you’re welcome to work or study. If you stay into the afternoon though the drinks can turn into alcoholic beverages, and at that point it’s anyone’s guess how productive you’ll be.
If you’re looking for a recommendation I suggest ordering the arctic macchiato, which is made with a double shot of espresso, a teeny bit of vanilla syrup, and oat milk shaken and strained into ice.
